11/23/13 – 16 miles
At least it didn’t rain today, like it did last Saturday. I stuck to my pre-race snack today, just substituted peanut butter for almond butter. I may add more food to this, as I believe it makes a difference in my performance.
The grind of this training is starting to get to me. I still have seven more weeks of this to go. We’ll see what happens after the marathon, but I’m beginning to think that I may not be up to many (any?) more marathon training periods like this one. I’m trying to stay positive about it all, but it’s getting difficult to do that. But no matter what, I still put in the miles, four days a week. 58 days until the marathon.
