11/16/13 – 15 miles
The run went well this morning, despite the fact that it rained for much of the time. The big difference between last weeks long run & today was that I ate before I left the house. I had:
- 1/2 a whole wheat bagel with almond butter
- 1 banana
- 1 glass (8 oz. or so) of Powerade
In addition to all of this, I brought the Shot Bloks along in my running belt, as well as a bottle of Powerade. I dislike having to carry a bottle with me while I run, but drinking it periodically helps. I’m not sore at all, just a little tired. I may need a nap before the fights tonight. As I was running my 15 miles through the rain this morning, I found out how much I want to run this marathon in January. 65 days until the marathon.
